Come and join us for a Brigstow work in progress conversation that brings together two of our current co-produced projects for brief work-in-progress presentations and an opportunity for questions and conversation from you. These interdisciplinary projects explore the role of place in community wellbeing and resilience, from the value of local parks to the wellbeing of local communities, to how heritage sites could offer long term potential in developing innovative place-based responses to rural uncertainty.

The projects are:

Once upon a Hill: An action research inquiry into community engagements with Robinswood Hill Country Park with Alice Willatt (Management), Martin Parker (Management), Mark Gale (Gloucestershire Gateway Trust) and Scott Farlow (Artist).

Tackling uncertainty across the centuries: medievals and moderns in conversation with Thomas Metcalfe (Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship), Tim Senior (Supersum), Marianne Ailes (Modern Languages), Stuart McClean (UWE Bristol), Ed McGregor (Churches Conservation Trust), and Simon Bowen and Alexander Wilson (Jigsaudio, Newcastle University).

Please note that this meeting will take place online and will be recorded. A subtitled recording will be made available after the meeting.
